Prayer Of Confession, March 10, 2024
O Lord, we confess that our hands are unclean and our hearts impure with our double-minded efforts to serve two masters, both you and the world. Forgive us, O God, and deliver us from all our transgressions, for all our hope is in you. Help us know our end and the measure of our days; remind us how fleeting is life, far too short to be wasted in folly, but a mere breath, a mere shadow. Do not be silent at our sorrow, or unmoved by our tears for what we cannot undo. Remove our sins from us, O God, and set us free by the Spirit of grace, that we may live forever as your joyful and grateful children, through Christ Jesus, in whose name we pray. Amen
