Welcome!
Vail Valley Baptist Church is a family of families growing together in the walk of faith and the hope of the Gospel. Our goal is to share the Grace, Truth, and Peace of Jesus Christ through the sharing of the Word, for the glory of God and the building up of His Church.
The world is overflowing with division, anger, and confusion. Riots, political tribalism, war, and the disintegration of our society fill our airwaves. TV, social media, and the philosophies of men promise they can make it better. All we have to do is set aside those old fashioned ideas and morality found in the Bible, and more and more people have obeyed. Meanwhile drug abuse, alcoholism, suicide, depression, anxiety, loneliness, and hopelessness continue to skyrocket to levels never seen in recorded history. What the world tells us is a solution doesn't just not work, it makes things worse!
What if there were answers that actually made sense to questions such as: Who am I? Why am I here? What happens after I die?
We will save you a seat each Sunday as we search out the incredible depths of God’s word. Regardless of where you are in your spiritual walk, come and learn of the God who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places (Eph 1:3).

Grace
In his letter to the Ephesians, Paul writes: "In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace" (Eph 1:7). At Vail Valley we are completely and unabashedly dependent on God's grace. We are saved from God's well-deserved wrath not based upon who we are, but upon who Jesus is. We can't earn salvation, we don't deserve it, and we can never repay it. It is a gift that is given because God is good, not because we are. That is how much God loves his children. |
Truth
The truth seems to get beat up a little more each day. It has gone from foundational to relative, shifting, and incomprehensible. In the Bible, the Church is called "the pillar and ground of the truth" (1 Tim 3:15). It is the solemn obligation of every church to unwaveringly uphold the truth of God’s Word. The Church does not invent the truth; it is to safeguard and share it. The Church has stewardship of Scripture and the duty to guard it as the most precious possession on earth. At Vail Valley, who we are and everything we do is based on the truths found in Holy Scripture. |
Peace
The world defines inner peace as the sense of calm that comes when everything is going well. That peace can be destroyed by conflict, bitterness, fear, anger, or a thousand other things. But true spiritual peace is completely different. It is the confidence that all is well between the soul and God because of His loving, sovereign control of our life both now and in eternity. This peace comes from the knowledge that our sins are forgiven, all is in God's control, and heaven is ahead. At Vail Valley we desire to share this peace with a lost and hurting world. |
