Prayer Of Illumination, April 21, 2024
Psalm 119:81-88 Our soul cries out for Your salvation; we wait for Your word. Our eyes seek after Your word, Saying, “When will You rescue us?” For we are like a wineskin in the smoke, But I do not forget Your statutes. How many are the days of Your Redeemed? When will Your judgement come upon the Earth? The world has laid traps for us, men who do not love your with Your law. All Your commandments are faithful; they have persecuted us with deceit; save us Lord! They have sought the end of us on the earth, but as for me, I did not forsake Your teachings. Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth. Amen
