Men's Ministry
Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17
The Brothers of Iron ministry is an opportunity to connect with other men and, together, deepen their commitment to Christ. As the men of our church and community, we are committed to providing a ministry that brings glory and honor to Jesus Christ. We do this as a fellowship of men participating in activities that include devotion and missions ministries in and around our Vail community as well as mission opportunities elsewhere. Men of all ages are invited to come and share together in the work of our Lord.
We will meet at least once a quarter for devotion and planning as announced on our Church Calendar and through other means.
Also, we will have gatherings as needed to participate in our ministry of "Willing Hands" to offer assistance throughout our church family as the need is made known.
Brothers of Iron participate in mission trips to the Navajo/Hopi Nation in Northern Arizona where we bring along our construction skills to build and repair facilities used for worship and other ministry. We also setup and participate in outreach ministries in presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Native American men. We have in the past and will continue to setup and participate in devotional seminars that are designed to help men in their walk with the Savior. This ministry equips men to live strong and effective Christian lives in relationships with their families and communities around them. This truly is Iron Sharpening Iron.
Every opportunity is taken to represent Vail Valley Baptist Church and an invitation to the Gospel throughout public events that are held in our Vail Community.
Come and join us - share in our experiences in ministry and devotion dedicated to the glory and honor of Jesus Christ.
