Brothers of Iron is committed to raising up men of integrity. Men who honor Jesus Christ through worship, prayer and obedience to God's Word in the power of the Holy Spirit. Men who are incurable God lovers. Men who desire and delight in Jesus Christ above all else. Men who build relationships with other men in order to keep each other accountable to the Great Commandment and Commission of Christ.
Men strong in faith, committed to building strong marriages and families, churches, and communities.
Brothers of Iron get together for times of Bible teaching, edification, prayer, events such as the Men's Breakfast; and times of fun and fellowship; intended to reach other men for Christ.
The Brothers of Iron ministry desires to help men be who God created them to be. We are dedicated to creating the opportunities for men to develop vital friendships, mature in personal integrity and experience profound Christ-centered growth. We aim for men to pursue and be like Christ in their personal lives, in the lives of their families and in their community.
A Brother of Iron knows who he is in Christ. He is a sinner saved by grace, crucified with Christ, adopted son of God and a new creation made to glorify our Father in Heaven. He is a tender warrior, fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God, for his battle here on earth. He knows his role as a husband, father, brother-in-Christ and ambassador for Jesus.
A Brother of Iron is a man of conviction whose daily walk matches his Christian beliefs. He knows what he believes and lives by it. His character displays strength, discipline, integrity, moral excellence, absence of hypocrisy and willingness to keep promises. He has no hidden messages or agendas.
A Brother of Iron is intimate in his relationship with God and others. He understands he was made for God’s glory and strives to enjoy God’s presence moment by moment, day by day. He pursues intimacy with his spouse knowing she was created by God for his completion. He cultivates real relationships that offer him an opportunity to live humbly before God and man.
A Brother of Iron is a man who aligns his life with the Great Commandment and Great Commission. He is intentional in his love for God and in his love for his neighbor. He is intentional in making disciples of Christ, teaching them to obey all that is commanded. He intentionally Seeks out relationships for the purpose of Training, Equipping, Encouraging, and Launching others to do the same in the name of Jesus.
Brothers of Iron envision the spiritual transformation of men, living Christ-centered lives to live out The Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-40) and fulfill The Great Commission from our Lord (Matthew 28:18-20).
Brothers of Iron encourage, equip and engage men to become leaders and servants in their home, church, workplace, community and world by
nurturing them spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, and socially.
Brothers of Iron desire to gather together for prayer…1 Timothy 2:8
Brothers of Iron desire to reach out to men on a personal level, building bonds and relationships that will encourage and strengthen one other…Proverbs 27:17
Brothers of Iron desire to encourage men to accomplish what the Lord calls them to do...2 Thessalonians 1:11-12
Brothers of Iron desire to biblically train and equip men to be the spiritual leaders in their homes, church and community. We want men to make an impact for Christ in this generation that will have a lasting effect on future generations. We strive to do this through small group Bible studies, retreats, and special events that focus on discipleship, leadership, accountability, and fellowship to build strong, lasting relationships among men.
The “Marks” of a Real Man
1. Real Men Love the Lord Their God
Real men seek God first in all they do. They love the Lord with all their heart, mind, soul, and strength. They honor Him with all they think, say, and do.
Deuteronomy 6:4-5; Matthew 6:33; Matthew 22:36-38
2. Real Men Obey God and His Word
Real men know that obeying God and His Word shows their love of Jesus. God desires obedience over sacrifice. We are called to be doers of the Word and not just hearers.
Exodus 19:5-6; 1 Samuel 15:22-23; John 5:34; John 14:15; James 1:22-25
3. Real Men Lead
Real men lead their families spiritually. They lead them to church, in prayer, in Bible study and in giving. They are a godly example to their wife and family.
Genesis 1:26; Joshua 24:15; Romans 12:8; 1 Corinthians 11:3; Ephesians 5:22-23; Philippians 4:8-9; 1 Timothy 3:4-5
4. Real Men Serve
Real men follow the example of Christ who came to serve and not to be served.
They understand that no matter what position in life they find themselves, they are to continually serve the Lord and serve others for His glory.
Matthew 20:26-28; John 13:12-17; 1 Corinthians 16:15-16
5. Real Men Are Faithful in Church
Real men do not forsake assembling together to worship the Lord. They gather for doctrine, fellowship, breaking of bread and for prayer.
Acts 2:42-47; Hebrews 10:24-25
As fathers, husbands, and leaders in our churches and community, we are challenged daily to run the race that is set before us.
As the Apostle Paul tells us in Hebrews 12:1: “Let us run with perseverance the race marked before us.”
We have to train hard to run the race, conditioned to overcome the hurdles of all that Satan throws at us daily.
God has instructed us through his word that we are to be the spiritual leaders in our homes. Without God’s guidance and direction, we are not spiritually fit and cannot win the race.
The Brothers of Iron ministry is an opportunity to connect with other men, and, together, deepen their commitment to Christ in order to become better husbands, fathers, and spiritual leaders of their families.
Come and experience the difference Brothers of Iron can make in your walk with God, your home, and the marketplace!
Now is the time to draw closer to God, get serious about studying the Word, and allow God to transform your life. Now is the time to join Men's Ministry.
